My name is Bastian Hopfgarten, I’m a vfx supervisor working for various international entertainment productions, commercials, tv series, independent and art films.
This includes independent directors Simon Savory, Till Kleinert (“Der Samurai”) or Olivier Strauss as well as artists Julian Rosefeldt (“Manifesto”), Christa Joo Hyun D’Angelo, Nathalie Djurberg or Charlotte McGowan-Griffin.
Further on I have been working on films by Ridley Scott like “Alien: Covenant, Prometheus, Robin Hood”, Guy Ritchie’s “Sherlock Holmes” series, “Hunger Games 3 & 4”, Steven Spielberg’s “Bridge of Spies” or supervising the shoot of the TV series’ “The Little Drummer Girl” from Director Park Chan-wook, “Berlin Station”, the “Sense8 Finale”, the “Charlie’s Angels” re-boot and was Supervisor on the final season of the Netflix series “DARK” that won the German TV Academy Award for VFX in 2020 in the in April 2023 released Netflix Series “Transatlantic”.
